  2. How do you make keypad sounds work on texts and emails and in Messenger?
I have reset phone. cleared cache, and gone into preferences/gboard and turned on keystroke sounds and increased volume to max and rebooted. Still no keypad sounds in anything, but navigation and dial pad produce sounds. Phone is 1 week old. Battery drops 10% an hour.

  5. So my issue is that my sons phone is stuck in reboot. I’ll get it to the factory reset option, and it just goes back into reboot real fast, so it’s hard to factory reset it real fast. What can I do?

  6. My problem is that the phone goes into some kind of suspend mode over night. Get up in the morning and have to log in with pin number (fingerprint does not work in this mode). Enter pin and phone says “Starting Up” then it finally displays any texts or notifications that occurred while the phone was asleep. Guessing the phone will also not ring in “suspend”.
This is a feature that I do not want (and a fairly ignorant programming decision considering there are people who are Police, Firemen or someone who has a 92 year old mother with a heart condition.) …. How to turn it off so the phone functions 24/7 ?

  7. This is odd has heck. I just got my Moto pure G and I keep noticing that when I lay it on a flat surface, it actually starts slowly moving. (No joke)
I don’t have a hard case yet, so maybe that will stop it, but this is weird.
Twice I came back into the room and the phone was on the floor. Luckily, I have carpet.
When I hold it in my hand, I don’t feel any vibration and when I lay it down, I don’t have anything open/running.
    Please advise.

    • I had the same problem with my wife’s phone. I followed the steps in the link below. The first few troubleshooting steps did nothing, but after I reset the network settings the LTE became visible in the upper right corner of the screen. Then I was able to connect to mobile data again. After resetting it you will just have to reconnect your WIFI & Bluetooth. Give that a try.

  14. Updated software on Moto G Pure. After the update and whenever I power on the phone 4 large digital numbers appear on the phone before I put in my pin. I’ve figured out these 4 numbers are the hours and minutes (time) on the phone. Once I put in my pin into the phone these numbers disappear. I have the display set for analog time, however only digital time is displayed. Finally one of my custom ringtones appears to hang the system. After a period of time a small snipit of the ringtone plays. Never happened until I performed the latest upgrade

  15. System UI keeps crashing. Ever since bought it in May. Yes I clear cache and everything else. Also random pop ups will come up all day and whatever if I use all of them. At night it’s like a song or video will pop up I don’t know where under settings it’s two of them right in the middle of whatever happened using. I use this phone for work I can’t do a reset I need the mileage log. Ever since I did system update now the phone totally freezes on me for 5 minutes going dark restarts crashes then it says system UI and it doesn’t constantly. I’d drive over and it’s doing it to me while I have a customer in the car and I can’t just redo it all.

  18. My problem is with my 3 month old Moto G5 Pure. This afternoon when I powered up the phone, the home screen appears (no apps) and it activates a “talk back” feature. It keeps reading the home page over and over. I cannot access any other page. I tried Restart many times. It reads the restart message before it restarts. After restarting it goes back the talk back of the home page. I have removed and reinserted the SIM card, with no change. I can’t get to the settings app or any other. before today, everything worked fine.
